Chess that anyone can join 8
More about this list
Some Kraków chess asks for no membership at all. The Tuesday tournaments of TKKF Drogowiec at the senior club on ul. Sienkiewicza 2a are open to all players, and members of the city’s senior-activity clubs pay a lower entry fee. IT Chess Club Kraków welcomes players of every level to its Thursday evenings at Bikershot Pub on ul. Czarnowiejska, and its pub blitz tournaments there cost nothing to enter.
Chicago Bar on ul. Sławkowska hosted the same Thursday evenings in 2025, with sets on site. The open tournament for the residents of Kraków has been played in May and June and is meant for anyone living in the city. For club classes, school groups and the culture-centre courses, a sign-up or a membership is needed, as their own entries show.
