Lessons, classes and coaching in Kraków 23

Learning chess in Kraków goes through three doors. Clubs teach in level groups: Krakowski Klub Szachistów 1893 at ul. Prądnicka and in Nowa Huta, Klub Szachowy Dwie Wieże in Bronowice, where International Master Dariusz Mikrut also gives lessons, and the sections of KS Cracovia 1906 and KS Korona 1919. Kingsofchess adds camps and simultaneous displays, and Klub Szachowy Krak teaches online.

Culture centres run term-long courses for children: the Podgórze centre at its Iskierka and Piaskownica clubs, Klub Kultury Wena in Prądnik Biały, and the youth culture house on Al. 29 Listopada. The city programme Kraków gra w szachy brings free classes into primary schools. Skawina and Staniątki have school-year groups of their own.
